Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP AVC Consultant to support design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Advanced Variant Configuration solutions. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver product configuration capabilities, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and integration with downstream processes (sales, manufacturing, pricing, billing). Job Description: SAP AVC Consultant Position: SAP Advanced Variant Configuration (AVC) Consultant Roles & Responsibilities: • Gather business requirements and translate them into AVC solution design. • Configure SAP AVC models, characteristics, classes, dependencies, and variant tables. • Set up knowledge base (KB) models and manage lifecycle of AVC product configuration. • Work on AVC integration with SD (Sales & Distribution), PP (Production Planning), Pricing, and Logistics. • Support migration from LO-VC (Legacy Variant Configuration) to AVC in S/4HANA. • Collaborate with functional and technical teams for interface and extension requirements (CPI, APIs, BTP). • Perform system testing, defect resolution, and user training. • Provide guidance on best practices, performance tuning, and simplification options in AVC. • Document configuration, design, and functional specifications. Professional & Technical Skills: • Minimum [5+] years of SAP experience, with at least [2+] full lifecycle implementations in Variant Configuration (LO-VC/AVC). • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA AVC concepts: product models, constraints, dependencies, configuration runtime environment. • Experience in integrating AVC with SD order management, CPQ, PP, and Pricing. • Hands-on experience in Knowledge Base (KB) and Product Modeling Environment (PMEVC). • Understanding of migration strategies from LO-VC to AVC. • Familiarity with APIs, Fiori apps, and integration points with SAP BTP for AVC. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile project environments. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience. - Exposure to SAP BRIM, CPQ, or SAP Commerce integration with AVC. • Knowledge of performance optimization in AVC models. • SAP AVC Certification.
