Maintain Endpoint Security Systems (ESS) and all related DISA mandated point products.

  • Develop reports and trend analysis documentation concerning network security events and incidents.
  • Perform trend analysis and troubleshoot product issues on systems, or errors/latency traced to ESS suite across live enclaves.
  • Construct tasks and reports within ESS to meet mission requirements.
  • Assist in the development and documentation of product processes and checklists.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for deploying, configuring, monitoring, maintaining, and upgrading all DISA ESS Mandated point products.
  • Conduct controlled tests of product updates and signatures provided by DISA prior to distribution throughout the AFCENT AOR.
  • Conduct troubleshooting and provide technical assistance to communication focal points end users and involving endpoint security issues.
  • Develop reports and trend analysis documentation concerning network security events and incidents.
  • Coordinate the dissemination of security vulnerabilities using the Communications Tasking Order (CTO) and/or Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) to deployed sites.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess experience and demonstrate an understanding with installation of Microsoft Windows Server 2019 using server images.
  • Must have experience with implementation of storage solutions, window containers, Domain Name Systems (DNS), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), network connectivity and remote access solutions.
  • Maintain and monitor server environments.
  • Network+ or CCNA certification.
  • CySA+ certification.
  • Must obtain ITIL Foundation within 60 days of start date.

  • Endpoint Security System experience.
  • DoD IT network experience.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$73,900 - $155,200
