Analyst, Store Supplies

As an Analyst, Store Supplies you’ll join Loblaw’s Enterprise Procurement - GNFR Team, a group of outstanding procurement professions accountable for purchasing goods & services for our retail divisions which represent more than 3,000 stores from coast-to-coast-to-coast.

Reporting and working alongside the Strategic Sourcing and Operations Director and Managers, you will support every aspect of category procurement including domestic and offshore sourcing, vendor relationship and performance management, RFPs, costing, supply risk management, quality management, vendor onboarding and much more.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage Store Supply Inbox inquiries from various stakeholders (stores, business units, suppliers, distributors) accounting for their needs while resolving difficult issues in a timely manner.
  • Co-ordinate Store communications and distributions while overseeing AP/AR processing. Facilitate vendor onboarding activities and provide administrative ownership of new product creation in collaboration with our Vendor Onboarding and Data Operations teams.
  • Manage product assortments. Article creation, maintenance and troubleshooting in SAP ensuring we have end-to-end accuracy in all aspects of our product assortments, including vendor costing.
  • Coordinate Store Catalogue updates with Distributors.
  • Support the Director and Managers with ESG initiatives, compliance, vendor performance management, generating data, conducting analysis, and preparing presentation material.
  •  Collaborate with all our stakeholders (distributors, merchandising, global sourcing, supply chain, Ops teams) leading meetings and managing ad hoc reporting.
  • Proudly represent EPG Team within Business Enablement & Enterprise Procurement Team (BEEP).

What You’ll Need:

  • A curious mentality and positive, self-motivated demeanor.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • 1+ years in a procurement, supply chain or retail merchandising role.
  • Confident, with an ability to prioritize many projects at the same time and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Strong relationship-management skills and a winsome communication style.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams.
  • SAP experience strongly preferred · Ariba experience preferred.
