About the Role
We are seeking a QE Automation Engineer with 4–6 years of experience to join our Platform Engineering Pod. This role is an immediate backfill to support critical projects for our US-based teams. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in automation testing across web, API, and mobile platforms, and excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.
Utilize Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured to execute automated testing within the existing framework.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.
Identify, document, and track defects to resolution using industry-standard tools.
Support US projects and stakeholders, ensuring availability during PST hours.
Continuously improve test coverage, automation, and processes to enhance testing efficiency and reliability.

Required Qualifications
4–6 years of hands-on experience in web, API, and mobile automation testing.
Expertise in automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Rest Assured.
Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and best practices.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact with global teams effectively.
Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and provide solutions to technical challenges.
Availability during PST hours to align with US project requirements.

Preferred Skills
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation.
Experience with tools like JIRA, TestNG, or similar platforms.
Knowledge of cloud-based testing environments and tools.
