Job Description:

This role combines strong analytical skills with solid accounting knowledge to prepare journal entries, financial models, cost recovery analyses, and business plans. This role requires strong problem‑solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Additional Information:

  • Job Type: Full-Time Permanent/Hourly- Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Compensation Rate: $23.14 - $26.03
  • Job Location: 1930 DERRY ROAD EAST MISSISSAUGA, ON L5S 1E2
  • Workdays: Monday – Fridays (5 Days/ Week)
  • Starting Time: 8:30 am to 5 pm
  • Flexibility is required as you may need to start earlier or stay later at times

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries accurately and in accordance.
  • Develop cost recovery models to support financial planning, budgeting, and operational decision‑making.
  • Create business plans that outline financial projections, operational assumptions, and strategic recommendations.
  • Prepare financial forecasts, including revenue, expenses, and cash flow projections, to support management planning.
  • Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Prepare financial and operating reports to provide the basis for management planning, performance measurement, and operating controls.
  • Analyze financial data to support performance evaluation and identify trends or issues.
  • Support management with ad‑hoc financial tasks and special projects as requested.

Qualification:

Bachelor's degree or master's degree in finance or marketing or Sales.
Strong math and analytical skills
Strong Excel skills like Power query, Power BI, Macro and Python.

Finance experience - Preferred
