Meet the team:

Responsible for day-to-day execution of chemical laboratory, ensuring efficient preparation, analysis, and management of chemical solutions while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Providing support in setting up the in-process testing line with the chemical solution prepared and ensuring zero setup error. Support other engineering activities that focus on improvement in safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Where you come in:

  • You execute the preparation, testing, and analysis of chemical solutions to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with specifications.

  • You maintain and calibrate laboratory instruments (e.g., YSI, viscometer, pH meter, weighing scale) to ensure accurate results.

  • You ensure adherence to safety protocols, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals in compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.

  • You direct day-to-day oversight and planning of work for operations.

  • You assist the supervisor/manager in planning and scheduling resources and equipment.

  • You assist the supervisor/manager in conducting and documenting training.

  • You ensure completeness and accuracy of manufacturing documents.

  • You ensure on-time equipment maintenance and calibration.

  • You may assist in the transition of new products into manufacturing.

  • You monitor equipment performance and make minor adjustments such as set-ups, calibrations, and alignments.

  • You clear minor machine difficulties and perform maintenance and repair as trained by a technician, engineer, or supervisor.

  • You assume and perform other duties as assigned.

What makes you successful:

  • You have a minimum SPM qualification, with previous experience working in a lab setting preferred but not required.

  • You are well-organized, with experience in Good Documentation Practice (GDP), and you are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • You bring a positive learning attitude, strong teamwork spirit, and the ability to work under pressure.

  • You demonstrate the ability to complete assigned tasks within timelines and meet deadlines.

  • You are familiar with standard laboratory practices, specifically mixing and handling hazardous chemicals.

  • You effectively present information and respond to questions from supervisors, engineers, and managers.

  • You have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schematic, blueprint, equipment drawing, or schedule form.
