OneSource tax solution clients in Japan report various technical and non-technical issues, which requires successful resolution in a timely manner, minimizing/avoiding customer impact.
This particular role focus on technical issues mainly, taking lead in resolving the issues in the most efficient manner by oneself or collaborating with various other stake-holders within Thomson Reuters. This role require deep appreciation of the product technology, customer requirements and solution implementation details.
About the Role
As the Technical Consultant, your key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to) the following:
About You
To be successful as the Technical Consultant, you will have the following:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required, preferably in a software engineering or related discipline
3+ years of experience in software development and/or experience supporting applications in the cloud (AWS, AZURE, Etc.), working with SaaS technologies and systems
Understanding of the technologies used to build and operate distributed application systems (Network, Security, APIs, Etc.)
Understanding and experience working with SQL, Excel Macros
Native Japanese skillsets with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Good critical thinking, communication, presentation, documentation, troubleshooting and collaborative problem-solving skills.
Ability to flex styles to work well with a range of stakeholders from extremely technical engineers to non-technical business leaders.
A work style that is collaborative, energetic, and results-oriented
Ability to influence others and drive consensus across stakeholder groups.
Travel requirements vary by client and project but typically less than 20%
