About the role

    This role is part of Accenture Research Global Data Science team.

    The Data Visualization Specialist will be responsible for

    -         building and managing several databases (both structured and unstructured) for the Research group,

    -         developing BI solutions (e.g., MS Power platform) ensuring seamless User Experience (UX/UI) design through rigorous user testing,

    -         planning and optimizing data flows for data visualization and storytelling to support research projects, in close collaboration with the Data Science team.

    More specifically, key responsibilities include:

    •        Analyzing data sets, shaping data insights, delivering pre-processed data to the users, validating quality of the data.

    •        Building data models, defining data transformation.

    •        Developing end to end BI solutions, incl. development, testing and deployment.

    •        Creating and co-creating outstanding visualizations, using innovative techniques and best practice in modern visual design (e.g., Mobile, GenAI).

    •        Collaborating with our Data Scientists to ensure data accuracy and optimize data visualization processes.

    •        Working with external data vendors and our internal Data Strategist to learn the data schema, format, and assumptions behind the underlying data.

    We are looking for curious candidates that will combine data engineering skills, creativity, and analytical capabilities to accelerate Accenture’s data-driven business research and insight discovery.

Your skills

    “Hard” skills:

    *        Has a visual and creative bent of mind and has good designer mindset

    *        Ability to design mockups and create custom visuals with tools like Adobe Illustrator or Figma

    *        Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and data storytelling

    *        Experience managing large-scale dataset, data validation and data transformation techniques

    *        Ability to quickly grasp complex and unfamiliar subjects with the ability to articulate complex issues at the intersection of business and IT to senior executives

    *        Demonstrated aptitude for logical analysis, problem identification, and problem solving

    *        General awareness of data management best practices, emerging trends, and challenges

    *        Good to have experience with Google Cloud Platform (BigQuery, Cloud Run, Dataflow, functions, etc..)

    *        Good to have experience with JavaScript (React, D3.js), HTML and CSS

    Additional Information

    Qualifications:  Graduate in any field with proven creative and design skills, post graduate preferred.

    Work Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in developing BI solutions UI/UX design and development.

    Location: Hyderabad, India

    Preferred start date: At the earliest.
