Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, check, and supervise the Financial (MFSR, J-GAAP and US-GAAP), Management and Statistical reports in accordance with their reporting frequency before submission to BNM, PIDM, Parent bank and other stakeholders including Management, Board committees, internal and external auditors.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities (BNM, PIDM, etc) and other stakeholders (internal and external auditors) pertaining to their enquiries on work matters, and liaise with other internal stakeholders (company secretary, legal and compliance, etc) for company matters
  • Participate in day-to-day finance operations (including non-trade payments and daily balancing), and be responsible for month, quarter and year-end financial close to ensure financial books comply with accounting policies and tax regulations.
  • Perform financial analysis, planning and forecasting for management, board, and regulator
  • Periodic review of workflow process with a view to improve turnaround and productivity.
  • Participate in advisory, company initiatives and working groups that relates to the finance function.

Requirements:

  • Preferably with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience especially in Audit and or Banking Industry.
  • Applicant must have a recognized Degree in Accountancy/Finance/Economics or its equivalent from a recognized university/higher learning institution with professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc).
  • Strong PC skill in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, MS Access, Power Point), especially MS Excel formula & function skills including Pivot table.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Able to work under pressure with good accuracy.
  • A good team player who is meticulous, detail oriented and pro-active.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting, Corporate tax, MFRS and Banking regulation.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
