What would you do? Responsible for repeatable, predictable and measurable operations which includes but is not limited to the following:
Experienced Payroll Team Lead with a strong background in managing payroll operations and leading teams to deliver accurate and timely compensation.
Known for leveraging advanced Excel skills to streamline payroll processes, perform reconciliations, and ensure accuracy across multi-jurisdictional payrolls.
Adept at supporting payroll teams, resolving complex issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Have supervisory knowledge or significant specialist skills with higher professional qualifications, have client stakeholder experience, and are responsible for managing the team s workload distribution, ensuring that all metrics are met, and issues are escalated.
Payroll experience into US/UK/International
Implement and manage payroll accounting processes and solutions within Workday paltforms.

What are we looking for? Team Development:
Create a performance driven competitive culture in the team which includes but is not limited to the following:
1. Ensure that the Team is adequately staffed and resources have the right skills required for the job. Liaise with OADM, Accenture Leadership, Recruitment and IJP Teams on staffing requirements.
2. Provide team members with a clear sense of direction and understanding of each other’s responsibilities including career planning and succession planning.
3. Ensure a robust measurement system to substantiate performance evaluation of team members, recognizes and rewards individual and team accomplishments.
4. Conduct/Support Training for regional teams and on-board new team members on all areas of HRO operations and including: Controls & Compliance, Business Continuity Plans, process analysis and customer service.
5. Enhance team moral and engagement level thorough team bonding exercises and activities. Liaise with local PPA’s and Human Resources Team on driving key People initiatives.
6. Ensure team is aware of their Goals and how their performance will be evaluated. Ensure that teams are able to explain the process.
7. Escalation and resolution point for team members with regards to people queries
Roles and Responsibilities: •Payroll Operations:
- Supervise daily payroll operations across multiple locations or regions
- Ensure payroll accuracy and compliancewith tax laws and reporting standards (e.g., W-2s, T4s, ROEs)
- Act as the primary expert on payroll processes, systems, and compliance requirements
- Lead and support payroll staff, ensuring performance goals and deadlines are met
- Review and approve payroll transactions, audits, and reconciliations
- Use advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables, macros) to analyze payroll data and identify discrepancies
- Reconcile payroll results with general ledger, timekeeping, and benefits data
- Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations (e.g., IRS, CRA)
- Provide training and guidance to payroll teams on best practices and system usage
- Work closely with payroll managers to review payroll matters and lead internal meetings to address employee queries
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT to align payroll with organizational needs
- Maintain and improve payroll systems, tools, and documentation
- Resolve complex payroll inquiries and escalate when necessary
- Strong understanding of accounting principles** and payroll-related financial processes
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable working with large datasets and financial reports.
Process Management
- Identify and raise quality or scope issues that may affect delivery
- Monitor and improve process metrics like SLA, OLA, and KPI
- Create logical plans and schedules for projects and activities
- Document and follow up on progress, issues, and decisions**
- Perform Root Cause Analysis and recommend corrective actions
- Support knowledge transfer and gain deep process understanding
- Participate in internal and client initiatives and meetings
