Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to build and provide specific, end-to-end Information Systems (IS) solutions/services within the defined scope in Data Cataloging (leveraging Microsoft Purview/Snowflake, etc.), Data Quality and Data Observability. Each day, you will execute the IS solution/service delivery utilizing the internal IS delivery units, IS Operations team members, and external third-party IS service suppliers in a “core and flex model,” as advised.

The work model for the role is: on site, close to the data team, and remotely. Ability to travel is a must and non-negotiable.

This role is contributing to the Business Area Process Automation (PA) globally. Main stakeholders are the Data & Analytics (D&A) team and their respective customers from our PA divisions.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Manage and deliver Metadata Descriptions and Data Lineage, Data Quality Metrics and Data Anomaly Detection via Process Automation Data Catalog (PADC), Process Automation Data Quality (PADQ) and Process Automation Data Observability
• Defines and implements data quality strategy and targets aligned with the organization's goals.
• Monitors and assesses data quality across systems and sources to identify errors and inconsistencies.
• Oversees data cleansing, standardization, and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Oversee the demand and development process, maintenance, and operations for all three platforms. Additionally adhere to the IT General Controls (ITGC).
• Coordinate with teams of project managers, data analysts, developers, testers, and data operations specialists. Be responsible for the work satisfaction of your team members. Foster and mentor talent.
• Managing assigned budget effectively delivering activities within agreed schedules and costs.
• Supporting the management/maintenance/optimization of internal and cross-functional processes related to IS service build or IS service delivery for the domain.

Qualifications for the role:

• To thrive in this role, you bring at least 10+ years of IT experience in Service and program management in a global IS environment with IS Project Management. Level 3 ISPM certification is a plus.
• Sound knowledge in ITIL, ETL, SQL, data cataloging, data management, master data, data operations, data architecture, data modeling, data quality, data analytics, and AI/ML.
• Sound business stakeholder management experience including working with senior level management up to C-level.
• Track record in successful virtual team building. Experience managing distributed, international, multicultural, and diversified teams.
• Additionally, managed to lead the operations/project team including staffing, resource planning, HR related activities such as people review and career planning and ensuring that contracts exist for each resource.
