Responsibilities will include:

• Process orders and create all required shipping paperwork according to customer requirements
• Route orders with freight carriers based on customer specific guidelines
• Send EDI notifications to customers as required
• Proactively reach out to customers regarding shipment exceptions
• Promptly respond to customer inquiries regarding shipment status
• Evaluate inventory positions and alert team to potential shortages or delays
• Monitor customer and vendor requirements to ensure that we are good business partners with external stakeholders
• Optimize and arrange freight for out-bound shipments, ensuring we’re meeting customer requirements in a cost-effective manner
• Assist with the following tasks:
  • Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to position the warehouse and the company as high performing
  • Work with company leadership to identify, implement, and optimize technology to improve outbound order processing operations
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed and shipped in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the business
• Foster a positive culture in the warehouse and throughout the company
• Perform other duties as instructed by Senior Operations Analyst, Warehouse Manager, Director of Operations and other company leadership

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred but not required
• Minimum 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently as part of a small, growing team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft and Google applications
• Must be process oriented and able to plan, organize and monitor work with minimal supervision with a high attention to detail
