SUMMARY
Coordinates the day-to-day operation of all aspects of assigned logistics customers, up to and including all arrival and departure check calls, all in transit and cross border activity, all on time carrier performance, all exception coordination and management. In addition, responsible for driving all Carrier Web Compliance and On Time Performance within the given customer network as well as addressing any additional customer requests such as added routes to a given network, the coordination of canceled routes with the carrier base, or the adjustment of any given planned routing in order to meet customer needs. Required to have a working understanding of multiple customer business rules and procedural requirements and may, through day to day customer interaction, be required to resolve any customer concerns or issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs load scheduling functions with carriers and dedicated Ryder personnel
Supports Specialization:
Premium Freight Management (PFM):Responsible for analyzing premium freight requests, booking low-cost providers and route management.
Dedicated Contract Carriage (DCC): responsible for managing drivers, payroll and route management
Freudenberg Household Products (FHP): Responsible for optimizing loads, booking loads, appointments and customer contact
Off-shifts & Weekends (OSW): Responsible for working off-shifts or weekends while handling PRM, LTL, ACA, PFM, DCC, FHP
Coordinates appointments
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
May analyze Procurement and FBAP information relating to movement of unplanned freight
May be required to work designated off-shift/weekend coverage, including holidays.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
H.S. diploma/GED
Bachelor's degree Related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Five (5) years or more experience 1-5 years experience in position. (Supply chain or Operations experience preferred)
SKILLS
Excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and accomplish work
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Internally as well as externally representing the company to customers by writing, telephone, e-mail or in person
Demonstrates analytical skills.
Demonstrates problem solving skills.
Decision making considering cost and benefits of potential actions and selecting most appropriate one
KNOWLEDGE
MS Office, LMS Modules: XMS, RMS, UMS, ACA, DCC, Provider web portals, LOCS & similar costing/rating systems, i2 Modeler, FHP Database; advanced level.
