eBay, Inc. seeks Sr. MTS, Software Engineer in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Build high performance, distributed, reliable, elastic block storage, object storage and file systems software products and features. Test and implement highly scalable, distributed, performant, and available system software. Develop innovative software ideas to solve sophisticated problems and needs. Perform iterative development with the ability to shift or change based on the needs with a steadfast focus on quality and automation. Develop automated tests and deliver high-quality software code to production within a short development cycle in the continuous integration and delivery environment. Develop, test, and deploy secure production quality software products. Build distributed systems at internet scale. Collaborate with other senior technical leaders in the team and make architectural decisions.

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field plus five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Base salary: $234,062-262,900 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
