Administrative Assistant II, Pre-Procedure Services

Position Highlights:

  • Position: Administrative Assistant II

  • Location: Skokie, IL

  • Full Time/Part Time: Part time (20 hours per week)

  • Hours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours

What you will do:

  • First Touch on all Endeavor NorthShore surgical charts (GBH, HPH, EV, SK, CVI)

  • First point of contact toward Providers’ offices and PPS RNs.

  • Provide administrative support for the PPS department, including but not limited to the physicians, director, practice managers and staff.

  • General office duties including answering phones, faxes, mail, ordering supplies, scanning, filing, sending department emails, etc.

  • Provide helpful and accurate information to patients, physicians, and others in a non-patient facing setting

  • Submitting CME or any special requests (new equipment) as needed with Epic help/work orders

  • Orient, train, mentor, and cross-cover co-workers as necessary

What you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma required. College degree preferred.

  • Certification: n/a

  • Experience: 2+ years of related administrative/clerical support or scheduling experience required

  • Unique or Preferred Skills:

    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Word and Excel, preferred

    • EPIC experience, preferred

    • Ability to problem solve and think creatively

    • Previous programmatic experience preferred

    • Must be a team player and possess excellent communication and customer service skills

    • Adobe acrobat experience
