Essential Job Functions

  • Assist in creating tailor-made architectures using cloud-native technologies.
  • Performance Monitoring
  • Deploy advanced services on the cloud and work with Data Architects to deploy AI/ML solutions and cutting-edge data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.
  • Implement automation solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation, CDK, and Terraform.
  • Maintain a feedback loop with customers to ensure deliveries meet their needs and expectations.
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Set up large-scale monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions.
  • Create Operation SoP document
  • Collaborate with architects on requirements and strategies for cloud-based solutions.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a technical field, or a related business discipline. Equivalent experience, certifications, or training will be considered.
  • 8+ years of experience in professional IT
  • 5+ years of experience with AWS services, optimizing for performance, scalability, and cost.
  • 2+ years of experience with other Cloud platforms
  • Experience with security products like firewalls, web gateways, and proxies.
  • Advanced knowledge of container technologies, including Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Swarm, and Docker.
  • Proficiency in scripting using at least two of the following: Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or PowerShell.
  • Strong foundations in Git and Git-flow methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with one or more CI/CD platforms
  • 2+ years of experience with Databricks
  • Creative troubleshooting skills and out-of-the-box thinking.
  • Familiarity with the Agile methodology.
  • Experience implementing and managing cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
  • Proven ability to automate deployment, monitoring, and management of cloud resources to support advanced analytics, data science, and operational workloads.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with the project team to optimize data workflows within the cloud environment.
  • Provide support for disaster recovery, high availability, and security management across cloud setups.

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work model.
  • Position based in either Philadelphia, PA or Washington, DC.
