Freese and Nichols is seeking a Water/Wastewater Master Planning Project Manager in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Rogers; Arkansas or Overland Park, Kansas. As Water/Wastewater Master Planning Project Manager you will manage and lead technical tasks, develop scope/fee and support business development activities, including proposal development for water/wastewater master planning and hydraulic modeling projects.
  • Lead multiple project teams for municipal water and wastewater studies, such as: water and wastewater master plans, water distribution and sewer collection system hydraulic modeling, water quality modeling in distribution systems and asset management
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams
  • Work with utilities to solve complex issues and develop capital improvement plans

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Oklahoma, Arkansas or Kansas
  • 4+ years of related experience

Preferred

  • Expertise with hydraulic modeling software, such as Innovyze products (InfoWater, InfoWorks ICM SE, InfoSewer, InfoSWMM, H2OSURGE, InfoAsset Planner) and/or Bentley products (SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, Hammer)
  • Experience with GIS applications in water and wastewater planning
  • Experience in client development, sales/marketing, proposal development
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical writing and verbal
