Summary: As a Cloud Native Architect, you will design and develop cloud native architectures to build and run scalable applications using containers, microservices, immutable infrastructure, and declarative APIs. You will be responsible for creating innovative solutions and ensuring the successful implementation of cloud native technologies. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Design and develop cloud native architectures to build and run scalable applications using containers, microservices, immutable infrastructure, and declarative APIs. - Ensure the successful implementation of cloud native technologies. - Install, configure, and test Apigee installations and Upgrades - Design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using APIGEE - Implement requirements of the API layer like security, custom analytics, throttling, caching, logging, monetization, request and response modifications etc. - Design and develop API platform to connect to various disparate backend systems for seamless data exchange - Build and support the APIs through the entire lifecycle - Perform regular health checks and monitor performance of the Apigee environment - Write Open API spec and smart docs for on boarding APIs to developer portal - Create custom policies in Java, JavaScript, Node js, Python etc in Apigee or any other APIM - Build and create shared flows for Error Handling, Security and other scenarios - Create REST API documentation using Swagger and YAML or similar tools - Standardize the CI/CD setup for Apigee for automated deployment Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apigee. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Google Cloud Platform Architecture, MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Kubernetes. - Strong understanding of cloud native architectures and principles. - Experience in designing and implementing containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes. - Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs. - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. - Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. - Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Additional Information: - 5+ years Software Development (and Design) work experience using modern API Gateway (APIGEE, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi etc). - 2+ years of experience in APIGEE - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
