Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Specification Sales Engineer - Water Solutions, Building & Industry. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive product specification and sales within targeted markets, for identifying opportunities, for developing marketing materials and for engaging with key decision-makers to secure product specifications.
Responsibilities:
Implement strategic marketing plans derived from EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) and Eastern Europe and Greece Region to drive product specification and sales growth.
Identify and target key market segments and decision-makers within the construction, architecture, and design industries.
Build and maintain relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and other specifiers to understand their needs and influence product specifications.
Create compelling marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, and case studies, to support sales efforts and promote product benefits.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and training sessions for specifiers, sales teams, and other stakeholders.
Track and analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
Coordinate with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing activities and sales objectives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in specification sales and marketing, preferably in the construction or building materials industry. At least 3 years of experience would be a strong asset.
Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and/or in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving revenue growth.
Driving License and ability to business trips (Greece) - 25% of time
Proficiency in Greek and English language
