Overview
The Digital Manager is an individual contributor role responsible for prospecting and closing sales in GumGum’s Market Leading Advertising platform. Reporting to the Group Digital Director this role is responsible for leading and developing key relationships and strategy across key media agencies and advertisers in the UK. We expect the successful candidate to drive value for our clients through GumGum products & have extensive contacts across the industry
The Digital Manager is a self-motivated individual who can work with internal teams and are committed to achieving and exceeding sales goals while growing GumGum’s products in their allocated region. We are looking for candidates with 3+ year’s experience in Digital Sales or Media Agency side.
Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.
What You'll Achieve
Drive Revenue: Manage and grow a dedicated media agency patch, consistently hitting or exceeding sales targets.
Sales Prospecting: Identify and hunt for new business opportunities while deepening relationships within your existing client base.
High-Volume Activity: Lead the charge on sales presentations, RFPs, and the development of innovative, data-driven sales solutions.
Strategic Upselling: Introduce clients to our full product suite, including contextual data, rich media, and video solutions.
Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term partnerships with brand and agency contacts to understand and solve their marketing goals.
Internal Advocacy: Translate client feedback into actionable insights for our Product team to help shape the future of our offerings.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Account Managers to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and alignment with client expectations.
Strategic Execution: Support leadership in identifying and closing high-level strategic sales opportunities.
Skills You'll Bring
Industry Experience: At least 3 years of digital advertising sales experience (publisher, tech, or agency side).
Agency Expertise: Proven track record working with major agency patches; specific experience with WPP/Mindshare is highly preferred.
Proven Results: A consistent history of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in a fast-paced sales environment.
Digital Proficiency: Deep knowledge of both Managed Service and Programmatic advertising solutions.
Network Depth: A strong industry reputation backed by an extensive list of established agency and brand contacts.
Communication Mastery: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to pitch complex ideas simply.
Technical Literacy: Proficiency in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Detail Oriented: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks simultaneously.
