As an Advanced Modeling Engineer at Micron, you will employ techniques and theories drawn from areas of computational sciences, engineering, and Gen-AI to build digital twins towards Fab Technology Co-optimization.

This role will interact with experienced Advanced Modeling Engineers, Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Vendors, and IT teams to architect and implement new platforms. In this position, you will help implement automated data and modeling solutions. There will be significant opportunities to perform exploratory and new solution development activities.

In this role, you will collaborate on development of digital twins for FTCO and testing within Micron environment.

What you will bring to Micron:

  • Experience in computational modeling
  • Advanced skills in Python, FEA analysis, RVE, and global/local models
  • Experience with Silvaco tools, Ansys, Abaqus
  • Established skills in Python to perform machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision tasks
  • Experience with user documentation, reports, and presentation to managers and leaders
  • Handle face-to-face interactions with all internal partners/collaborators
  • Strong software development skills

Requirements for this position:

  • BS, M.S., or PhD Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline.
  • Internship experience in industry.
  • Knowledge of memory device structures and processes.
  • Experience with AI chatbots, data structures, Python dictionaries, OOP, IDE, APIs, LLMs, webapps.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Growth mindset to quickly pick up new technical skills.
