The Role
The Director, Advanced Planning is a client-facing role that serves primarily as an estate planning subject matter authority for Fidelity’s high net worth clients and their advisors as a member of a regionally-aligned Advanced Planning team providing comprehensive financial and estate planning support. Additionally, the Director, Advanced Planning will also be relied on to support the Vice President, Advanced Planning Market Lead to provide advisor training, regional business development and thought leadership. We primarily use video technology to function remotely and meet virtually with clients and advisors across the region. We also collaborate within the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in-person to maintain and increase our collective impact on the clients we serve. Travel is typically expected between 5% and 20% of time, depending on physical proximity to regional sites and investor centers. This role is remote but does require residing within commuting distance to an Investor Center or regional center in the states of KY, OH or TN.

We are part of the Advanced Planning Leadership Development team collaborating with Fidelity’s advisors and their high net worth clients to provide a comprehensive financial planning experience that is tailored to each client’s unique financial goals and family dynamics.
Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
