About you and this role

We are looking for you, an ambitious master’s or bachelor’s student (m/f), to support our Finance organization by doing an internship in our Finance Compliance Team in our location in Terneuzen, The Netherlands. The department that will welcome you is the Finance Compliance Group with the oversight over major distribution agreements (the Product Marketing and Lifting Agreements (PMLA)). The  team ensures that Dow complies from a finance point of view with all the requirements stipulated in the agreements with our major joint venture in Saudi Arabia but shipped and sold by Dow around the globe. 

 

Responsibilities

Our day-to-day activities are unique as we cover a much broader range of activities than most of other Dow departments. Our main responsibility is to ensure that the revenue and the related costs for the products in scope are complete and accurate.  Upon joining you will assist the existing team with various activities.

Therefore, during your internship at PMLA you can expect to:

• Perform data analysis and accuracy checks 
• Complete reconciliations
• Prepare and monitor KPIs
• Provide reporting and analyses to management on request
• Closely collaborate with multiple stakeholders not only from Finance but also from other departments within the Dow organization  

Qualifications

• You are currently studying for a Bachelor’s or Master's in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance.
• You have a good working knowledge of English, other language will be a plus.
• You can start between May and June 2025 for a period of 3 to 4 months (exact date will be discussed).
• You are organized, with solid analytical skills and capacity to learn and articulate complex matters; you pay attention to details and like to work in team.
• You master MS Office.
