About the Role

We are seeking a Vice President of Operations Excellence – Delivery & Implementation to lead enterprise-wide system and process transformation initiatives across our organization. This role is responsible for delivering complex cross functional technology implementations, driving system consolidation, new platforms, and establishing standardized operating and support models that enable scalable, cost-effective operations.

This executive will oversee a portfolio of concurrent transformation programs and partner closely with Operations Leaders, business and technology leaders to modernize core insurance platforms while ensuring disciplined execution and minimal business disruption.

Why Join Us

Join a growing MGA & Wholesale Brokerage organization at a critical point in its transformation journey. This role offers the opportunity to lead high-impact initiatives that will simplify our technology landscape, improve operational performance, and support long-term growth.

You will have enterprise visibility and strong executive sponsorship to deliver complex implementations, drive platform consolidation, and build sustainable operating and support models. The mandate is clear, the work is meaningful, and success is measurable.

This role is ideal for a transformation leader who thrives in complex environments, values accountability, and wants to leave lasting operational impact—not just deliver projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the enterprise transformation delivery portfolio, including core system implementations and platform consolidation initiatives
  • Drive system rationalization efforts to reduce redundancy, modernize the technology stack, and achieve cost and efficiency targets
  • Oversee delivery of policy administration, claims, underwriting, billing, and workflow platforms
  • Establish standardized post-implementation business support models, including platform COEs and tiered support structures
  • Ensure strong program governance, risk management, vendor oversight, and executive reporting
  • Manage transitions from implementation to steady-state operations, including stabilization and adoption
  • Partner with business & operations leaders to support change management, training, and sustained adoption

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience leading large-scale technology and process transformation programs, including senior portfolio leadership roles
  • Deep Property & Casualty insurance expertise across underwriting, claims, policy administration, and distribution
  • Proven success delivering enterprise system implementations and consolidation initiatives
  • Experience with core insurance platform implementations such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, AIM, ImageRight, Surfyre, Clarion Door or similar industry platforms
  • Strong background in program governance, change management, vendor management, and operating model design
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced certifications (PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Prosci) preferred

What Success Looks Like

  • On-time, on-budget delivery of complex transformation initiatives
  • Measurable reduction in platform complexity and total cost of ownership
  • Stable, well-supported production systems with high user adoption
  • Clear executive visibility into portfolio health, risks, and value realization
