Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry-Level Procurement Agent to join our Supply Chain team to support multiple Space and Launch Development and Production Programs in Huntsville, Alabama.

Position Responsibilities:

• Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.

• Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.

• Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities.

This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Shift Work:

This position is for 1st shift.

Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): how many years?

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

• 1+ years of experience performing data analysis.

• 1+ years of experience working in fast paced environment with strict deadlines.

• 1+ years of experience working both independently and in team environments.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): how many years?

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• 1+ years of experience interacting with customers or suppliers regarding contract requirements and/or proposals.

• 1+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.

• Excellent written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills with strong sense of customer service.

Typical Education/Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. 4 years' related work experience).

Relocation:

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Travel:

Position may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $51,850 - $64,050
