The Work:

 

Our team has an exciting opportunity and is looking for an experienced Salesforce developer to lead cross-functional product development teams to design, develop and enhance software assets that meet or exceed internal and external(customer) expectations and complete product functionality, cost, and delivery schedules. Apply knowledge to create an environment that fosters accountability, quality, commitment, growth, and innovation. Support the sales process as needed by participating in the solution design. The Salesforce Developer Lead will lead and guide the team, applying business and functional knowledge to meet the requirements with the best software development methodologies and principles.

 

Key Job Functions:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to review current implementations, reporting the impacts of changing requirements to existing rules/business needs/requirements.
  • As new rules/business need/requirement is implemented, investigate the current system to determine innovative solutions to resolve root-cause issues for incorrect calculations/defects.
  • Based on your innovative solutions, present findings to the key IT/Business stakeholders and your team.
  • Outlining a path forward to modify the rules/business need/requirement to correct and triage any issues to de-escalate problems.
  • Elicit input from multiple stakeholders and synthesize feedback to create technical work products and drive outcomes
  • Contribute to maintaining an environment where continuous improvement of the development process is in focus and where everyone’s common goal is to deliver outstanding software as fast as possible
  • Coach and teach team members.
  • Translate and simplify requirements to better enable the developers to be successful
  • Lead IT meetings, facilitate sessions, and participate in agile ceremonies
  • Understand multiple integrations, including the triggers, timing, directionality, and data exchanged
  • Work with developers directly to remediate defects and remove IT environment/infrastructure impediments

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years experience with Salesforce application development
  • 4+ years leading complex development through implementation using SLDC principles
  • Experience leading multiple teams
  • Experience interfacing with clients
  • Experience working on Sales/Service and Custom Development (focus is on Service and Custom Development) 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce.com certification(s)
  • Experience with Agile delivery, Scrum and/or Kanban
  • Used Source Code or Deployment/Migration tools
  • Experience with Salesforce.com Web Services APIs
  • Experience developing on AWS platform or building Salesforce integrations with AWS 
  • Role open to US Citizens, Dual Citizens and/or Green Card holders 
  • May require eligibility for future clearances

 

 

Compensation for our Development Programs varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, development program, role and skill set. As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York City or Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.   

 

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role: 

California:         $105,200 – $168,400

Colorado:        $105,200 – $145,500

New York City: $121,700 – $168,400

Washington:    $112,100 – $154,900
