Johnson Controls is currently hiring for 2 Welder Assemblers for our 2nd Shift Team!! We offer competitive pay, benefits, and lots of room to grow!

What Will I do?

  • Perform difficult hand welding operations on a wide range of metals, ferrous and non-ferrous, for package units and other complex assemblies

  • Able to weld dissimilar metals, layout, cut and fit parts to meet drawing tolerances.

  • Weld to high strength and pressure requirements according to ASME code and produce clean welding finishes.

  • Operate all types of hand or semi-automatic electric machines and oxyacetylene for welding.

  • Maintain clean, safe work area and equipment according to 5S standards.

  • Follow all safety policies, procedures and JHRA

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Welding experience (prior certification preferred)

  • Experience operation forklifts, cranes, or electric pallet jacks preferred.

  • Starting rate $30.16/hr

  • 2nd Shift 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime as needed! However, Training may take place on 1st shift for up to 4 weeks.

  • $1.50/Hr shift differential
