The Opportunity

Apollo has clinical hours available, and we are actively recruiting for a Nurse Practitioners to work in our state-of-the-are, one of a kind medical cannabis clinics (remotely).

We offer:

  • Flexible days and hours, with evening and weekends available

Responsibilities  

  • Provide assessments for patients interested in obtaining a medical cannabis prescription

  • Help educate patients on different methods for the intake of medicine

  • Follow up with patients and monitor response to dosage and cannabinoids prescribed

  • Other duties assigned.

Experience   

  • Registered with and in good standing with the College of Nurses

  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in English (Bilingual/French is also an asset)

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to manage a busy workload

  • Team-oriented approach with existing team members and physicians 

  • Must be highly organized and have a good sense of time management  

  • Informed and abreast of scientific research and willing to learn more about the industry 

  • Experience in pain management or mental health is an asset

  • Previous work with veterans and/or medical cannabis is a big asset

This is a part time position with the opportunity to grow into full-time should you wish, based out of Ontario however will consider Canada wide candidates.
