Reports To: National Sales Manager - Laddaw®

Department: Sales & Marketing – Laddaw® Wholesale

Location: Bardon, Leicester or Cardington, Bedford / Hybrid - please note; travel across both sites will be required.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOE + 10% annual bonus, competitive pension.

Contract Type: 9-month FTC

Role Purpose & Summary

This is an exciting, newly created role, to support with increased demand from a company-wide project roll out.

We are happy to consider candidates based closer to either our office in Cardington, Bedford, or our Laddaw® DC based in Bardon, Leicestershire. However, travel between the two sites will be required on occasion and the induction will take place in Bardon.

The Commercial Support Analyst role is essential in assisting the Commercial Analyst and the Wholesale Sales team by providing comprehensive administrative and organisational support. This role involves handling data management tasks, preparing reports, maintaining databases, and facilitating the smooth operation of pricing strategies and sales processes within the Laddaw® Wholesale business.

The Commercial Administrator ensures the efficient operation of commercial and reporting admin activities, enabling the team to focus on strategic initiatives to enhance profitability and supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Commercial Analyst in the development and delivery of detailed product mix analysis.

  • Support the creation of clear and concise output/presentation material.

  • Maintain the Laddaw® Wholesale price books, including updates and revisions.

  • Assist in the preparation of business reports, visualisations, and dashboards using data visualisation tools (e.g., Power BI).

  • Support the National Sales Manager and Regional Account Managers in developing pricing proposals for customers.

  • Assist in the maintenance of account pricing books and ensure accurate record-keeping.

  • Help develop and implement discount pricing structures and tools to support profit enhancement.

  • Support the operation of the eCommerce platform pricing and reporting (Laddaw Web).

  • Support the maintenance of analytical tools, such as Capture and Bulk Pricing Calculators.

  • Assist in developing reports that provide self-service solutions to enable performance management.

  • Help create effective reporting to measure the performance of the Laddaw® Wholesale customer journey.

  • Assist the National Sales Manager by providing Ad-Hoc reporting to facilitate data led decisions.

  • Assist in the creation of reporting for regular Business Review meetings to the National Sales Manager.

  • Assist the Supply Chain Support Hub in the provision and update of reporting including recommendations for business improvement.

  • Assist the Supply Chain and become the initial point of contact for Wholesale reporting requirements, plan and laisse with the Commercial Analyst Laddaw Wholesale to validate and deploy reporting

  • Ensure that all reporting and output conform to relevant regulations, including GDPR.

  • Experience building data visualisation.
