The Contract Specialist is part of our Legal and Commercial Services. Our professionals bring innovative ideas to commercial reality with a focus on maximizing value for all parties through a deep understanding of legal, business, and commercial risks. We work alongside Accenture sales and delivery teams throughout the entire contract lifecycle to provide high-quality advice and support for negotiation, drafting, and ongoing management of client contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Support contract management teams across projects and accounts; collaborate with account leadership and client stakeholders to align with client needs and priorities.
• Work with contract management staff across multiple projects, accounts, and geographies to ensure consistent delivery.
• Support identification, escalation, and resolution of commercial and contract risks and issues in partnership with project leadership.
• Assist with pre-award sales activities, including discussions on deal shaping and contractual outcomes with sales and business leadership.
• Provide contract drafting support and ensure compliance with Accenture policies and contractual obligations.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with client counterparts through effective communication and collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in contract management or legal experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, law, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proficiency in commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and standard contracting terms and conditions.
• Ability to travel up to 20% as required by business needs.
• Professional certification such as IACCM or NCMA membership.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills with client executives at all organizational levels.
• Ability to work effectively across cultures and global locations.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusion in all interactions.
• Leadership and team-player mindset with persuasive and collaborative approach.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and contract lifecycle management tools.
