This role is responsible for leading end-to-end delivery of the Prolec HR integration, providing leadership oversight across HR workstream leads and their teams. Key responsibilities include:
Providing mission, purpose, and direction to a diverse team: Establish and sustain a clear sense of mission for a cross-functional team of internal HR professionals and external partners. Model and build a team culture defined by accountability, inclusion, transparency, and a commitment to transformational outcomes. The leader is responsible for both what the team achieves and how the team works together.
Anchoring the integration to the investment thesis: Ensure that HR integration decisions and priorities remain connected to the strategic rationale for the acquisition of Prolec, serving as a steward of the deal's long-term value throughout execution.
Leading the HR implementation program: Drive end-to-end delivery from mobilization through Workday cutover and stabilization, following a phased integration strategy across Mexico, the United States, and Brazil.
Building and leading a high-performing, cross-functional team: Attract, onboard, and develop a joint GEV–Prolec HR implementation team across workstreams including Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Client Support, People Operations/Workday, Learning & Development, Talent Management, HR Change Management, and Payroll/Time & Attendance. Resolve resource gaps and ensure the team is staffed and mobilized to deliver at pace.
Collaborating with the People Operations PMO: Partner closely with the People Operations Project Management Organization to leverage established standard work, tools, and operating rhythms, ensuring consistency with GE Vernova's HR delivery standards.
Developing and maintaining a detailed, milestone-driven implementation plan: Establish project roadmaps with clearly defined owners, deliverables, dependencies, and success criteria. Track progress against the critical path and proactively address schedule risk.
Coordinating across workstreams and resolving cross-functional dependencies: Facilitate recurring cross-functional forums; surface and manage risks, issues, and resource gaps; and ensure integration readiness across all workstreams.
Serving as the primary escalation point for workstream leads: Triage risks and escalate critical decisions, drawing on internal and external resources to arrive at sound decisions.
Managing external partner relationships: Own and actively manage relationships with external implementation partners and vendors, setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, and ensuring GE Vernova receives maximum value from its investment in external support.
Providing executive updates and overviews: Prepare and deliver executive-level communications that provide transparency into program health, surface key risks and decisions, and inform timely action by senior leadership and the HR Integration Governance committee.
Driving organizational readiness: Oversee change management, role-based training, country-specific communications, and employee engagement strategies across all three operating geographies.
Contributing to M&A standard work: Participate in M&A CoE operating rhythms and embed lessons learned from the Prolec integration into GE Vernova's standard work for future transactions.
