PIMCO, a leading asset management firm, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager and Business Analyst to join our team. This role will be instrumental in advancing our Middle Office transformation initiative, providing our investment teams with a rich, near real-time, and accurate view of positions, P&L, and performance. Additionally, it will provide our technology teams with standardized interfaces to access accurate transactions, positions, and cash in near real-time. We are looking for someone with a proven background in delivering middle office transformation with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Project Overview

Our middle office transformation initiative will completely transform our business workflows by delivering efficiency across operations processes and will provide our investment teams with accurate and on-time access to transactions, positions, P&L, and performance. In this role, you will:

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the book of work across the middle and back-office transformation initiatives.
  • Responsible for project planning, including timelines, task ownership, and run books
  • Work closely with Portfolio Managers, Operations, and Technology to gather requirements and iterate solutions.
  • Create and drive presentations to provide updates on initiatives for stakeholders and executives.
  • Communicate and manage vendors as well as analyze any new vendors.
  • Understand technology tools and optimize business workflows.
  • Organize and drive the required discussions in support of the assigned projects.
  • Own documentation and testing of projects.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of project management and business analysis experience working in asset management, hedge funds, investment banking, or financial services institutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Math, or equivalent; a higher degree in a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in managing large transformation initiatives within financial services.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of project planning methodologies and experience in documentation and training rationalization.
  • Experience in vendor management and project delivery.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.


Salary Range: $ 265,000.00 - $ 305,000.00
