Job Purpose:

The Freight Excellence Specialist supports freight quality initiatives across Europe, with a particular focus on Loss in Transit (LIT) prevention, shipment visibility, and carrier performance. The role is responsible for monitoring transportation processes, identifying root causes of delivery issues, collaborating with carriers and internal stakeholders, and supporting continuous improvements through tracking technologies, reporting, and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor Loss in Transit (LIT) cases and freight quality indicators across Europe.

  • Investigate shipment delays, losses, and damages, identifying root causes and proposing corrective actions.

  • Collaborate with carriers, country organizations, and internal stakeholders to improve transportation performance and service levels.

  • Monitor shipments in transit and coordinate recovery actions on exceptions and overdue deliveries.

  • Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the OneTrack visibility platform.

  • Act as a point of contact for countries regarding transportation visibility, tracking issues, and system-related inquiries.

  • Support carrier onboarding, transportation flows, and tracking integrations.

  • Develop, maintain, and customize performance reports related to transportation SLAs, freight quality, Loss in Transit, and customer experience.

  • Contribute to the development of new tools, processes, and functionalities aimed at enhancing transportation visibility and customer satisfaction.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

  • 1–3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight operations, carrier management, supply chain, or customer service environments.

  • Basic understanding of transportation processes, shipment tracking, and carrier operations.

  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders across different countries or business units is an advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate operational issues and identify improvement opportunities.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence interacting with carriers and international stakeholders.

  • Comfortable working with reporting tools, spreadsheets, and transportation-related systems.

  • Interest in process optimization, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business requirements.
