The UA – Data Entry will be focused on using automated systems to plan, coordinate and complete a high volume of transactions (e.g., obtaining information and managing account documentation such as quotes, proposals, internal risk evaluation documents, etc.), in support of our Underwriters or Agency representatives. Your job is to make it easy to get things done by providing fast, high quality service experience.
Responsible for prepping new business issues, book consolidation quotes, renewal transactions, essential services, and direct support to the Underwriters. Communicates with Agent to obtain needed and required underwriting information. Use Policy Center and other automated systems to plan, coordinate and complete work.
Location: 100% REMOTE
Start Date: March 30, 2026
Hours: Mon – Fri: 9:30-6:00 EST (6 weeks training)

· Identify forward-thinking solutions that resolve both stated and un-stated needs, making it easier to do business with The Hartford
· Maintain a high level of performance measured by quality objectives and service performance indicators and behaviors.

****This is a 4–5 year project role with the possibility of moving into future on‑ or off‑phone positions.

QUALIFICATIONS
· High school graduate or equivalent certification.
· High level of accountability and ownership
· Strong Desk Management Skills
· Insurance experience a plus

· Understanding of Property & Casualty Insurance a plus
· Employ analytical thinking and problem solving skills
· Understanding the root cause of problems

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
