The Position

Join Roche Diagnostics Solutions as a District Manager and drive the commercial success of our Diabetes Care portfolio. This role is built around frequent travel and many face-to-face meetings. You will follow a busy schedule of site visits to find new business and grow your current customer base. You will take ownership of our diabetes care systems, focusing on hands-on training and growing our reach within your district.

As the face of Roche in the field, you will turn our sales strategy into real-world results. Drawing on your market insight and proven sales experience, you will map customer needs to decisively position and sell the solutions that meet them. You are responsible for the entire sales process—from identifying new opportunities to closing the deal—ensuring our solutions win in the market. Throughout every interaction, you are committed to delivering a great customer experience that builds lasting trust and sets our partnership apart.

In addition to traditional customer touchpoints, you are able to navigate and make full use of modern digital tools to drive engagement.

Who you are:

To excel in this role, you are a results-driven professional who balances a commercial mindset with a genuine commitment to customer success. You likely meet the following criteria:

  • Commercial & Financial Expertise: You bring 3 to 5 years of healthcare sales experience with a record of winning in competitive markets. You can present health economic data and budget models to show customers the long-term savings and value of our solutions.

  • Clinical Communication: You have the ability to lead sophisticated conversations with medical experts. Rather than just explaining technical product features, you engage with clinicians on advanced diabetes management and patient outcomes.

  • Strategic Thinking: You analyze regional sales data and "funnels" to work efficiently. You know how to prioritize your resources toward the clinicians and accounts that show the most momentum and potential.

  • Stakeholder & Project Management: You are comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and have the organizational skills needed to drive complex projects forward.

  • Educational Background: You hold a relevant degree in the biomedical field or healthcare sector, giving you the confidence to discuss our solutions at a high level.

  • Resilient & Accountable: You thrive in regulated environments and stay calm under pressure. You take ownership of your actions and keep precise, detailed records in the CRM. You focus on providing quality insights (the "why") rather than just listing daily tasks.

  • Language & Mobility: You are fluent in both Finnish and English and are ready to travel to meet our customers where they are.


Preferred Location:

1 x District Manager Pirkanmaa region

1 x District Manager North Savo region

We value genuine customer knowledge and are happy to tailor responsibility areas to fit the selected candidate’s location and network. However, to ensure effective regional coverage and team integration, your residence should be geographically practical for the assigned area. We are looking for local presence, so while we are flexible, the role is not suited for someone living across the country.
