Job Summary & Responsibilities

As a Global Freight  Sr Manager, you will orchestrate the international movement of high-value semiconductor equipment and spares. You are responsible for optimizing a complex global transportation network (Air, Ocean, Ground) and small package to ensure on time delivery, cost efficiency, and strict regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement global transportation strategies that align with regional manufacturing and service operations’ goals and ensure a robust supply chain

  • Carrier Management: Run global freight bids, support negotiations in global freight contracts and lead performance reviews (QBRs) with carriers to drive operational excellence in on-time delivery and safety.

  • Cost Optimization: Identify and execute year-over-year cost-saving initiatives through route and mode shift optimization, shipment consolidation, and lane analysis.

  • Risk & Compliance: Mitigate logistics risks—such as geopolitical disruptions and capacity constraints—while ensuring 100% compliance with international trade regulations and customs.

  • Escalation Management: Serve as the primary global lead for resolving critical shipment delays, equipment damage claims, and logistics bottlenecks.

  • Team Leadership: Serve as the Global Leader for transportation, set goals and growth objectives for the global team, develop skills, awareness, capabilities and responsiveness to best support the business.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Supply Chain, Service, Operations, Finance, and Trade Compliance, to integrate logistics solutions into broader business objectives.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.

  • Experience: 8–10+ years in global logistics, with at least 5 years managing international 3PL/carrier performance for high-tech or semiconductor accounts.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, advanced Excel skills and ORACLE systems.

  • Expert knowledge of global shipping modes (Bulk Air, Ocean, Parcel) and trade compliance.

  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills using data visualization (e.g.,Excel,  Tableau, PowerBI) to drive decisions.

  • Ability to thrive in high-urgency, fast-paced environments with cross-cultural teams.

Compensation & Growth

• Base Salary Range:

$132,000.00 - $198,000.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
