Job Description:

2nd Shift, Monday - Friday

Position Summary:

This role is responsible to assist supervision in the coordination of the shipping operation. Under the direction of the warehouse supervisor, maintains the routing plan for all outbound/cross-dock loads and coordinates warehouse activities to achieve timely and accurate selection and loading to meet departure schedules. 

Here’s what you’ll do: 

  • Pull, prepare and organize work from WMS 

  • Distribute, recover, verify and complete all documents supporting shipping and loading 

  • Plan and coordinate trailer requirements with dock & yard employees 

  • Research and problem solving 

  • Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. 

Here's what you’ll need: 

  • HS Graduate or Equivalent(GED) 

  • Detail oriented 

  • Ability to multi-task, handling any priorities at any given time 

  • Telephone protocol 

  • Typing skills 

  • Basic math, writing, computer and communication skills 

  • Data entry 

  • Filing procedures

While performing the duties of this position, employees are subject to a warehouse environment and may frequently be exposed to changes in temperature and humidity based on assignment. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
