Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Product Manager in optimizing the offer portfolio and return on investment. Each day, you will ensure that ABB has full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can transform those requirements into offer specifications and development activities. You will also showcase your expertise by performing various offer lifecycle activities supporting the development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.

The work model for the role is: onsite

This role is contributing to the Product Management of SWG LBL in Egypt. Main stakeholders are Customers, sales and operations team.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Understanding and following global or assigned area standards, market and customer requirements, and their impact on the current offer portfolio.
• Manage the SWG offering tools and ensures its updates in cooperation with engineering and supply chain teams.
• Conducting valuation of market size and trends, as well as competitor analyses including identification of offering gaps and evaluating ABB’s market standing.
• Ensuring whether technical solutions can be used across the Product Group’s offer portfolio to the maximum possible extent.
• Managing the technical specification of the assigned products and supporting the Product Manager in developing the business case on offer developments, maintenance, and cost reduction.
• Lead innovation initiatives strategically linked to market requirements
• Collaborates with internal teams (i.e. Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Research & Development, Supply Chain, and Logistics) to deliver great customer experience

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical Power engineering (5 years degree); MBA is preferred.
• You have 10+ years of experience with at least 5 years in MV SWG business technical and commercial roles.
• Possess an enhanced knowledge of SWG global standards.
• You are passionate about Leading innovations and working with cross functions talents.
• You are at ease communicating in both Arabic and English.
• You enjoy working with sales and marketing team to address customer experience linking it to our portfolio. Also to work with highly talented team to strategically develop new solutions and innovations that can support our customer and the market
