Roles & Responsibilities:

• Be the owner of the Material P&L lines and costing :

  • Manage month-end closing and ensure that all SAP (ERP system) manual entries are accurate and timely booked. 

  • Analyze variances and communicate explanations with recommended actions to continuously reduce the variances of profit and loss between expectation actual results.

  • Prepare Daily indicators, weekly best estimate , Monthly forecast with financial statement analysis and projections with risks and opportunities and secure the correlation between indicators & data and the real world on the shop floor. 

  • Review BOM of new products  and run costing every month. 

• Ensure that stock inventory is accurate and properly valuated  :  

  • Investigate and reconcile all Cycle count differences.

  • Follow all scrap & Non quality cost declaration and secure the supplier contractual recharges.

  • Calculate provision for productive parts, slow moving and drive for its reduction.

  • Lead the yearly stock take.

• Control the purchasing performance : 

  • Follow & control all the purchasing price variance.

  • Issue Credit & debit notes in cooperation with purchasing team in line with our price agreement.

  • Calculate the monthly Purchasing index performance .  

• Must work across organization boundaries, with other departments to achieve plant objectives and requirements, make improvements and identify inefficiencies.

• Monitor & secure and  continuously improve our internal controls ratings to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets, and identify risks and support internal and external auditors requirement.

• Contribute to Group Ethics & Compliance program by applying and respecting code of Ethics and Valeo’s policies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree. 

• 5 years or more experience in Cost Accounting/Costing / industrial controlling,  a background from the automotive industry would be an advantage.

• Strong computer skills in Excel  and SAP system (CO, MM and PP Module).

• Must be a team player, supporting others colleagues and sharing knowledge and improvements ideas to achieve common objective.

• Driving license & own Car to drive to other Valeo site in Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong if needed to share best practice and training.

• Dynamic personality, eager to learn and have excellent analytical skills.

• Experience in handling multiple concurrent tasks and meeting strict deadlines and be flexible on the working time during closing.

• Fluent in English ( working language is a must).
