Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team to develop and implement solutions, ensuring that applications are designed and built to meet the needs of the business. You will also be responsible for configuring applications and ensuring they align with the required specifications. Additionally, you will contribute to the decision-making process and engage with multiple teams to provide solutions to problems. A) Tableau Developer Responsibilities 1) Recognize business requirements and devise a solution to meet data requirements 2) Collaborate with IT teams and business experts to implement data-driven policies and initiatives throughout the enterprise 3) Create, and update Tableau dashboards and analytics 4) Gather, clean, and prepare data for analytics and visualization 5) Manage and use the Tableau platform to gain valuable insights 6) Create reports using a variety of graphical and data modelling techniques 7) Create new KPIs and monitor them consistently in datasets 8) Gathering and normalizing data from multiple data sources 9) Create, test, and publish dashboards and reports, as well as schedule refreshes 10) Define access controls and put security measures in place as needed 11) Accurately drill deep into data and generate reports 12) Designing wireframes and beta dashboards with an emphasis on user experience, consistency, and visibility 13) Enhance the whole process of data management, collecting, dashboard design, and product life-cycle management 14) Use algorithms and statistical approaches to extract information from data 15) Troubleshooting any data or performance issues with workbooks and data sources 16) Keep an eye on reports and dashboards and make any required modifications 17) Oversee Tableau-powered installations, architecture, and management 18) Actively control Tableau's performance and usability to get the desired outcome B) Tableau Developer Requirements & Skills 1) Demonstrated expertise in developing and operating Tableau-driven dashboards and analytics 2) The ability to query and show massive data sets while optimizing workbook performance 3) The ability to decipher technical or dashboard structure and translate complicated business needs into technical specifications 4) Familiarity with Tableau administrator/architecture 5) Expertise in Tableau development is necessary 6) Excel proficiency at a high level (macros, pivot tables, etc.) 7) Knowledge of complex mathematical and statistical functions 8) A firm grasp of SQL, relational database management systems, data modelling, and standardization 9) Excellent communication abilities 10) Precision and attention to detail C) Additional Information: 1) The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Tableau 2) This position is based at our Bengaluru office 3) A 15 years full time education is required
