Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Associate to join our team, supporting and implementing Microsoft-based solutions for a diverse client portfolio. This role involves collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and innovative technology solutions aligned with business needs. The Associate will contribute to the organization’s objectives by ensuring optimal performance, support, and continuous improvement of Microsoft technologies and services.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) (all versions, intermediate to advanced level)
Knowledge of Windows Operating System and Windows Server (2016, 2019, or later)
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform and services
Familiarity with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server (2016, 2019)
Basic understanding of Microsoft Dynamics 365 modules and functionalities
Experience with .NET Framework and C# programming language (preferably at an intermediate level)
Preferred:
Knowledge of additional Microsoft 365 applications (Teams, Power Automate, Power BI)
Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Virtual Agents)
Overall Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for Microsoft technology solutions, providing technical support and guidance to clients
Collaborate with clients to define their technology needs and recommend suitable Microsoft solutions to optimize their workflows
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Microsoft software and hardware components to maintain system integrity and security
Support the deployment of Microsoft cloud services and on-premises solutions, ensuring seamless integration
Work cross-functionally with team members and departments to implement, support, and enhance Microsoft-based systems
Conduct routine maintenance, updates, and system health checks to ensure optimal performance
Provide user training and documentation to facilitate effective adoption of Microsoft tools
Assist in resolving complex technical issues, escalating when necessary, and maintaining high client satisfaction
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
Required: C# (basic to intermediate proficiency)
Preferred: PowerShell scripting for automation
Databases/Data Management:
Basic understanding of SQL Server and data querying
Cloud Technologies:
Microsoft Azure core services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, and Storage
Frameworks and Libraries:
Microsoft .NET Framework, including version 4.x; familiarity with .NET Core a plus
Development Tools and Methodologies:
Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum practices
Security Protocols:
Knowledge of Microsoft security best practices, authentication protocols, and data protection measures
Experience Requirements
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with Microsoft technologies in a support or implementation role
Demonstrated experience supporting and deploying Microsoft solutions such as Azure, SharePoint, or Dynamics 365
Prior experience working directly with clients or in a customer-facing environment is desirable
Alternative experience pathways: reduction of experience requirement with relevant internship, certification, or project work demonstrating proficiency
Day-to-Day Activities
Respond to client inquiries related to Microsoft product issues, requests, or feature integrations
Perform scheduled maintenance, system updates, and health checks on Microsoft environments
Assist clients with the deployment of new Microsoft solutions, configurations, and integrations
Conduct end-user training sessions and prepare supporting documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents promptly
Escalate complex issues to senior team members when necessary, ensuring timely resolutions
Document system configurations, procedures, and issues for knowledge sharing and future reference
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, or Microsoft Certified: Associate level) preferred
Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development in Microsoft technologies and certifications
