Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Product Management – Operational Technology will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Walmart Corporate Real Estate’s core building and infrastructure technology platforms, including Building Management Systems (BMS/BAS), Digital Twin platforms, Lighting platforms, Dynamic Glass, and Electric Plant Monitoring systems. This role sits at the intersection of physical infrastructure, data, and software—owning complex products that power safe, efficient, sustainable, and intelligent facilities at global scale. You will define product vision, translate business and operational needs into scalable solutions, and drive measurable outcomes across energy efficiency, reliability, associate experience, and cost optimization.

About the Team:
The Corporate Real Estate Product & Technology team uses data, platforms, and modern technology to power smarter decisions across Walmart’s global real estate portfolio and workplace experience. We build and manage enterprise products that connect physical building systems with digital platforms—transforming operational data into actionable insights that improve efficiency, reliability, sustainability, and Associate experience.
Our team partners closely with Campus Operations, Engineering, Business Leaders, and Technology organizations to deliver scalable solutions. We value strong product thinking, deep collaboration, and disciplined execution, working across business and technical partners to modernize how Walmart Corporate Real Estate operates its buildings at scale and enable the workplaces of the future.

What you'll do...

  • Own product vision and strategy for a portfolio of Operational Technology platforms, including BMS/BAS, Digital Twin, Lighting, Dynamic Glass, and Electric Plant Monitoring systems, from discovery through scale.
  • Develop and manage multi-year product roadmaps that align customer needs, business priorities, and technical constraints across a complex stakeholder ecosystem.
  • Drive data-informed decision making by defining success metrics, leveraging product and feature analytics, and using insights to prioritize investments and improvements.
  • Lead product discovery and experimentation, framing problems, testing hypotheses, and identifying new opportunities for value creation across facilities, energy, and infrastructure domains.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Campus Operations, Engineering, Construction, Business Leaders, Infosec, and external vendors to deliver scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
  • Influence and align senior stakeholders, clearly communicating complex concepts, tradeoffs, and recommendations to drive consensus and execution.
  • Guide launches and scaled rollouts, ensuring adoption, operational readiness, and measurable business impact.
  • Champion modern product practices and continuous improvement across the product lifecycle.
  • Drive technology adoption and innovation, staying ahead of emerging trends in smart buildings, IoT, cloud platforms, and analytics.
What You’ll Bring
  • Deep product management experience leading complex, enterprise-scale products or platforms in technology, infrastructure, or industrial domains.
  • Strong domain understanding of Operational Technology, building systems, energy platforms, and adjacent enterprise systems, with the ability to translate technical complexity into business value.
  • Proven ability to define and execute product strategy, including roadmap ownership, go-to-market planning, and success measurement.
  • Customer- and operator-centric mindset, with experience using design thinking, journey mapping, and process optimization to remove friction and improve outcomes.
  • Data and analytics fluency, including experience with product metrics, exploratory analysis, and insight-driven prioritization.
  • Executive-level communication and influence skills, with a track record of navigating ambiguity and aligning diverse stakeholders.
  • People leadership experience, including mentoring product managers, building high-performing teams, and fostering a culture of ownership, inclusion, and continuous learning.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
