What you will be doing

As the Insider Threat Analyst Specialist, you will be a subject matter expert for the InITIRT providing your experience, skills and knowledge of insider threat strategies and technologies to advance, shape, and strengthen the FIS Insider Risk Management Program (InRMP) and InTIRT.

  • Analyze, Identify, respond, and investigate and incidents from multiple sources of information to identify patterns of suspicious insider activity to respond to, and mitigate insider activity effectively.
  • Utilize Insider Threat tools to identify, respond, mitigate suspicious insider activity (UAM, DLP, EUBA, SIEM).
  • Collaborate and provide support for the development and maintenance of insider threat procedures, processes, playbooks, and technical documentation.
  • Promote and foster a positive Insider Risk Program through awareness, education throughout the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business lines to understand and identify and insider risk impact to the organization, through development and implementation of policies to detect and prevent malicious, accidental and negligent insider activity.
  • Partner and work directly with key stakeholders from: Legal, Privacy, Intellectual Property, Employment Legal, TPO, Compliance, Cybersecurity, Audit, Financial Crimes, Physical Security, RISC to ensure alignment and compliance of InTIRT incident response and investigation processes to adhere to regional and local Privacy and Employment laws and regulations, and FIS Policies.

  • Insider Threat Technologies: knowledge and experience with Insider Threat tools: DLP, UBA/EUBA,  CASB, UAM, SIEM, EDR/XDR, digital forensics.
  • Understanding of Insider Risk: Understanding and knowledge of Insider Threat Frameworks: CERT, NITTF, NIST, demonstrate knowledge of tactics, techniques, and patterns associated with insider activity, accidental, negligent, or malicious.
  • Data Analysis: Data analytics skills and attention to detail, ability to analyze and correlate data from multiple streams of information and collection platforms to identify potential and emerging threats to confidential company and client data and intellectual property.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and organization skills, including the ability to render concise reports, summaries, and formal presentations to communicate to non-technical audiences.
  • Insider Threat investigations: Experience with investigation or case management platforms, ability to manage accurate case report documentation, presentation of reports, summaries, and formal presentations to communicate analysis and findings to non-technical audiences, adhere to strict processes and procedures practices to ensure compliance of FIS Policies as well as global privacy and employment laws and regulations.
