Senior/Middle PHP Developer

Our client is a leading vendor of products & solutions for outdoor entertainment (hunting, fishing, hiking etc) located in the US.

Orion teams participate in development & support for the range of client's products.

We are seeking for a talented PHP+JavaScript developer, who can evolve & support one of the products.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Work closely with tech leads and business partners to define new features and stories.
• Perform design review of these features and stories
• Work on the product evolution developing new features
• Work in a team of several developers with agile style development process
• Provide support for the products: bug fixing, unit tests, issue solving.
• Code review, juniors learning, and new team members onboarding.
• Document design decisions and solutions and keep current documents up to date

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• Proven experience in reviewing requirements, preparing design and completing development of the features in the distributed system/solution
• Knowledge of PHP/Symphony framework
• Proven experience in developing JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js/Express services
• Practical experience in developing REST APIs
• Experience with AWS public cloud services (Elastic Beanstalk, Cloud Formation, Lambdas, etc)
• Understanding of micro services & other architectural patterns
• Knowledge of MySQL & ORMs
• Solid knowledge of SQL language, complex database design
• Solid knowledge of OOP principles and design patterns.
• Version control system experience (subversion, git)

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of Sails.js framework
• Knowledge of Angular (and/or React) is a plus
• SQL query/schema optimization experience
• Unit testing & End to end testing experience
