What you will do:

As a Windchill Solution Architect, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade PLM solutions using PTC Windchill. You will serve as the technical authority for Windchill integrations, upgrades, and customizations, ensuring alignment with business goals and engineering workflows.

How you will do it:

Architecture & Design

  • Define scalable Windchill architectures for modules like PDMLink, MPMLink, SUMA, and ThingWorx Navigate.
  • Lead solutioning for Windchill+ upgrades, SSO validation, and cloud migrations.

Integration & Development

  • Architect and implement integrations with ERP systems using REST APIs and Info*Engine. 
  • Customize Windchill workflows, loaders, and utilities for ECN/FCN processes and BOM management.

Agile Delivery & CI/CD

  • Drive Agile initiatives, backlog refinement, and sprint planning with cross-functional teams. 
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters and Product Owners to define epics, features, and acceptance criteria.

Release & Change Management

  • Oversee release management, coding standards, and documentation for PLM environments.
  • Lead change management efficiency projects, including automation and visualization gap closure.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Interface with business analysts, offshore teams, and vendors to align technical solutions with business needs.

Mentorship & Evaluation

  • Conduct technical interviews and provide feedback on Windchill developer candidates, assessing skills in customization, configuration, and ThingWorx.

What we look for:

Required

  • PLM Platforms: Windchill PDMLink, Windchill+, ThingWorx Navigate

  • CAD Tools: Creo 

  • Integration & APIs: REST, SOAP, Info*Engine, ESI

  • Dev Tools: Azure DevOps , ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins

  • Languages: Java, XML, SQL

  • Experience: 10–12 years in PLM domain, with deep Windchill expertise

  • Certifications: PTC Windchill Professional Curriculum, Lean Yellow Belt

  • Education: Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline

Preferred

  • Experience with Agile frameworks, global product teams, and vendor collaboration

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $109,000 - $146,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.)  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
