About the Role

Senior Business Development Manager, Bermex will be responsible for sales & development of metering & Damage Prevention services across the United States. Additionally, this role will be responsible for overseeing customer relations with current and future clients. This position will work with the Bermex leadership team in the pursuit of new business and management of appropriate service lines.  A high degree of organization and attention to detail will be necessary to successfully perform this function.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute the preparation of contractual provisions and proposals
  • Accountable for implementing sales objectives and strategies
  • Initiate contact with prospective customers, identify and assess needs, propose, and obtain signed agreements for Bermex; some cold calling is required
  • Generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts through relationship building, networking, and communication of service offerings
  • Liaise between clients and Bermex Operations Representatives
  • Maintain current information as to trends and developments in business, present recommendations to sales team
  • Retain Sales pipeline
  • Understanding of financial impacts and margins for products sold
  • Assist and support sales, marketing, operations, and support teams
  • Research, develop, and present reports and proposals showing potential customers the cost benefit of purchasing company services
  • Coordinate proposals, contracts, and subcontracts, including the development of budget, and proposal preparation
  • Use technical knowledge of service offerings to support and build sales and communicate client feedback to sales and operations teams for future service developments
  • Attending industry tradeshows
  • Presenting at events and tradeshows
  • Generate publication literature and webinars
  • Take part in internal bid meetings and planning
  • Assist and support sales, marketing, operations, and support teams as needed

About You

Must haves:

  • Education
    • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience:
    • 5 years sales experience
    • 5 years of field metering or damage prevention experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or Economics
  • Experience
    • 10 years of sales experience
    • 10 years of metering experience
    • AMI/AMR experience
    • Damage Prevention experience
    • Water meter change outs

Where We Work

At ACRT Services we prefer in-person employee interaction, and we rely on collaboration among groups to be successful and agile, which means we expect work in the office to continue as an important part of our company culture and a key to employee success. This position is a remote hybrid role, meaning employees may be required to come into the Stow, Ohio office on a weekly or as needed basis.

Standard office equipment will be provided to work in the office and at home – a dedicated space at home to work is also required. Uninterrupted home-based internet is a must in your home to attend and host video calls, along with a minimum bandwidth speed of 20 mbps. If you do not have an in-home office space or cannot meet the internet needs, an office space will be provided for you in the company’s Stow, Ohio office.
