India Account Lead - Morgan Stanley

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to oversee JLL's strategic relationship and service delivery with Morgan Stanley (MS) across their India portfolio. This role involves managing approximately 1.6 million square feet of commercial real estate across 3 major cities, 5 office sites and based at Mumbai MS office. The successful candidate will serve as the primary client interface, ensuring exceptional service delivery and driving growth opportunities for all JLL verticals at this key work dynamics account.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for Morgan Stanley India Property Services requirements

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key MS stakeholders across all levels

  • Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions at India level

  • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication and issue resolution

  • Identify and pursue expansion opportunities within the existing portfolio

Portfolio Management

  • Oversee JLL service delivery for 1.6M+ sq ft portfolio across Mumbai, Bangalore, and Gift City

  • Coordinate with all JLL teams to ensure consistent service delivery

  • Monitor service level agreements and ensure KPIs are met consistently

  • Ensure compliance with corporate real estate policies and local statutory requirements

 

 

 

 

Service Delivery Excellence

  • Lead integrated service delivery primarily focused on facilities management, and oversight on project management, and other JLL verticals

  • Coordinate with JLL service lines including Facilities Management , Project Management, Leasing, Occupancy planning and  other JLL teams.

  • Implement best practices and standardization across all locations

  • Manage vendor relationships and service provider performance

  • Ensure health & safety compliances and ESG initiatives alignment

  • Drive technology initiatives and innovation program to future proof the operations.

  • Drive staff upskilling learning and development programs.

Financial Management

  • Develop and manage annual budgets for the account

  • Monitor financial performance and cost optimization opportunities

  • Prepare regular financial reporting and analysis

  • Support budget planning and forecasting processes

  • Drive cost-effective solutions while maintaining service quality

Strategic Planning & Growth

  • Develop account strategies aligned with Morgan Stanley's business objectives

  • Identify opportunities for portfolio expansion or consolidation

  • Support workplace strategy and space optimization initiatives

  • Participate in RFP responses and contract negotiations

  • Collaborate on long-term real estate planning

 

 

 

 

 

 

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, Science, Commerce or related field

  • Over 20 years of experience in commercial real estate or account management or related field

  • Minimum 5 years in client-facing roles within CRE services

  • Experience managing large corporate accounts (preferably financial services)

  • Proven track record managing multi-city portfolios

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of Indian commercial real estate markets

  • Detailed knowledge of facilities management

  • Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with CRE technology platforms and data analytics

  • Understanding of ESG and sustainability practices

  • Understanding of real estate technical infrastructure

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional travel between Mumbai, Bangalore, and Gift City

  • Flexibility for client meetings and site visits as required
