Agropur Granby is much more than a cheese manufacturing plant; it is one of the pillars of Agropur's cooperative history, contributing to the local economy for nearly 40 years. We are looking for a production supervisor available for different shifts (day, evening, night, weekend) who will be responsible for planning, organizing, and ensuring the follow-up of production department operations.

Reporting to the production manager, the Granby production supervisor manages the plant's operations, oversees the work team on their shift, and ensures solutions to various issues to meet Agropur's objectives and standards.

• Salary scale 004: $71,200 to $89,000 (The base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills related to the position.)

What’s involved in this role:

• Being responsible for the plant's operational performance, including developing and deploying performance indicators and continuous improvement philosophy;

• Coordinating manufacturing processes, product packaging, and workforce assignment;

• Ensuring compliance with quality standards (ISO, HACCP, HALAL, GFSI), health and safety, and environmental standards;

• Mobilizing, developing, and training the team, and empowering employees;

• Leading performance meetings with work teams;

• Initiating problem-solving approaches with teams;

• Ensuring management based on business partnership with all on-site collaborators;

• Participating in plant committees and implementing operational excellence programs;

• Ensuring the application of the collective agreement.

What you need to join our team:

• College or university degree in a relevant field;

• 3 to 5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a unionized environment;

• Good computer skills (SAP, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint).
