What you bring to SBHG):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSET, etc.) plus one (1) year full-time equivalent experience working in a program serving persons with mental disabilities required

  • AOD certification or pursuing substance use certification required.

  • Valid California Driver's License required.

  • Meets agency driver eligibility criteria and meet required driver eligibility

  • First Aid certification required

How you will make a difference:

This position assists staff and consumers in determining the need for specialized services and researches the availability of specialized services. This position provides resource identification and referral and training support for all clients and families. Finds community resources to provide needed resources to clients and families. Interaction with all staff members, clients and families, outside agencies, and the public.

Division/Program Overview:

  • The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short-term voluntary residential facility.

  • Designed to help adult residents, ages 18-59, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to community.

Services include:

  • 24/7 Program

  • Therapeutic and mental health services

  • Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services

  • Pre-vocational or vocational counseling

  • Medication evaluation and support services

  • Daily exercise and health/wellness education

  • Crisis intervention
