Job Title : Full Stack Software Engineer

The purpose of the role:

We're looking for Full Stack Engineers who are hardworking, inquisitive, and responsible individuals to help deliver the best experience to our customers to join Fidelity Health & Benefits Accounts - Debit Card Insourcing team within Workplace Investing (WI). The ideal candidate is deeply entrenched middle tier development, with a passion for using tools and frameworks to guide the development of stable, robust, and resilient apps that best serve our customer base.

• E2E Software engineering methodologies, and tooling, to ensure maintainability and stability of the codebase.

• Collaborating with other team members and collaborators to analyze and solve problems.
• Supporting a cloud-first world through upskilling and augmenting squads with solid knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Staying ahead of the curve by aligning architecture, user experience, and security with chapters and COEs, your skills will be applied to our aligned initiatives providing you the opportunity to quickly make a difference in our customers’ lives!

The Skills that are Key to this role

• Strong technical background on crafting and developing enterprise digital applications with MVC design pattern, micro front-end and open micro service architectures.
• Solid knowledge of 12-factor methodology, containerization and cloud technologies.
• Java & Spring Boot: Good experience in developing middle-tier services and integrating with REST APIs
• API Integration: Collaborates with record keeping teams to define and consume RESTful APIs
• Testing: Experience in quality-first, testable solutions using TDD and automation
• CI/CD & DevOps: Build robust CI/CD and shift left practices
• Cloud Exposure: Experience with deploying apps in AWS
• Secure Coding: Follows secure coding practices and guidelines
• Problem Solving: Breaks down tasks and contributes to feature development
• Communication: Collaborates effectively within the team and with leads

As a Full Stack Engineer within the Fidelity Healthcare Technology Team, you will be engaged in a highly dynamic group that responds to customer and business needs. The Expertise We’re Looking For

• 1-3 years of experience in designing and implementing web applications
• Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science or other related field.
• Experience in front-end frameworks and web technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript or Typescript, web components, Angular, Node.js.
• Solid experience with Java, Spring framework and/or the Open-Source stack technologies

Location: Chennai

Shift timings: 11:00 am - 8:00pm
